ALLENTOWN, Pa. — Almost four years to the day after a child was killed when two Allentown police cars crashed, there is now a settlement in the case. It’s not nearly as much money as the victim’s mother wanted, though.
Originally, Crystal Legrand sued the city for eight million dollars. Friday, she agreed to a settlement of just 600 thousand dollars — an amount city leaders say is fair.
