State police worked Friday to reconstruct a fatal car crash involving a trooper.
Trooper Jonathan Biven, who was in his cruiser, crossed the center line of U.S. 31W in Barren County on Thursday afternoon and collided head-on with a 2003 Ford Mustang driven by Nurcan Ceylan, state police said.
Ceylan, 33, was flown to Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, where she was pronounced dead.
Lt. David Jude, spokesman for the state police, said Friday that it wasn’t clear why Biven swerved into the other lane.
