Since July, most of Fort Dodge has likely noticed a significant change in a few of the police cars.
Instead of the familiar solid white color with gold lettering and gold and black lines, they’re now black and white.
“We didn’t want them to look gaudy,” Capt. Bob Thode, of the Fort Dodge Police Department, said. “I think we’ve gotten excellent results. It’s given the officers more confidence in their equipment.”
