STOW, Ohio— A Summit County teenager is facing a laundry list of criminal charges, after leading police on a high speed chase in a stolen dump truck.
Stow police say the pursuit began Saturday morning, when 17-year-old Joshua Jiles took the truck from an excavating company.

Ohio When officers tried to stop Jiles, they say he used the 55-thousand pound truck as a battering ram, slamming into numerous police cruisers and civilian vehicles.
“He didn’t want to be stopped, it’s hard to get him to comply,” said Stow Police Chief Lou Dirker. “We tried stop sticks and the size of the tires on the vehicle kind of prohibited them from working right away.”
At one point, Jiles drove the truck in reverse and crashed into a cruiser and a number of vehicles, before allowing two teenagers — who were in the truck — to jump out.
