HALLETT, Okla. – In just four weeks, 40 new police recruits will hit Tulsa streets for the next phase of their training.
On Wednesday and Thursday recruits are getting some fast-paced experience behind the wheel of a police cruiser.
“You have to teach them how the car operates and how to control the car. Especially when you get into the higher speeds and when you see the stressful situations,” says Cpl. Jack Hoehner.
