Indy Police Car in Collision While Doing An Escort

Around 7:45 a.m., an Indianapolis Metro Police reserve deputy assisting with an escort struck another car at the intersection of Indiana Avenue and Unverisity Boulevard.  Both drivers have minor injuries. The driver of a Pontiac Grand Prix told investigators he was already in the intersection when he heard the sirens and wasn’t able to avoid the crash.
