Halton police have been involved in more car collisions so far this year than last — but fewer were the fault of the officer behind the wheel.
A report presented by Halton Police Chief Gary Crowell to Thursday’s meeting of the Halton Regional Police Service Board, stated there were a total of 70 Halton Regional Police Service vehicle collisions — $158,780 in damage —between Jan. 1 and June 30 this year.
