Three people were killed early Tuesday morning in a crash between a car being pursued by Glynn County police and a private ambulance.
The Georgia State Patrol said the crash happened just before 1 a.m. on Golden Isle Parkway near Cypress Mill Road.
Troopers said the Toyota driven by 29-year-old Candice Smith rear-ended the ambulance at a high speed, killing her and two passengers, 33-year-olds Corey Lee Lemon and Cedric Daniels. All are from Brunswick. None were wearing seat belts.
