3 Boynton Beach Officers Hurt In Crash

BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. — A police vehicle crashed into a concrete pole in the 1600 block of North Seacrest Boulevard, injuring three officers inside Tuesday morning.

The police vehicle was responding to a burglary call at 2640 NE 4th Court at about 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, pursuing a blue Ford F-150 truck with three suspects inside, and the officer lost control before striking the pole, which landed on top of the police car, trapped the three officers inside.

After they were extricated, all three officers were transported to Delray Medical Center where they were listed in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries. Two were admitted to the hospital, the third was released after treatment.
